Role at Tom Sawyer Software
Fabian Silva is a passionate mathematician. He joined Tom Sawyer in 2013 as a software engineer where his knowledge, passion and dedication allowed him to excel as an engineer and quickly become more than just an engineer. He transitioned to a senior consultant where he plays a key part bringing products and systems to next generation technologies and frameworks. He works closely designing features and solutions for product development while assuring the highest of quality standards.
He loves coding, command-line and working with object-oriented programming (OOP), domain-driven design (DDD) and test-driven development (TDD) to create high-level CI/CD pipelines that can deploy to container orchestration cloud services.
Working Background
Prior to working with Tom Sawyer Software, Fabian worked at Oberthur Technologies (Currently IDEMIA) as a data analyst, where he handled data pipelines, key management and security production algorithms for secure devices.
Education
Fabian studied Applied Mathematics at "Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México" (ITAM - Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology) where he also worked as design editor and author in the mathematics student magazine “Laberintos e Infinitos.”
